Sarah Davis was great. We had an idea of two songs mixed together as our first dance - wedding waltz which is the tradition in Finland where I am from - and a cheesy pop song, but didn't quite know how to dance them. During our two hour session Sarah tough us first how to dance waltz and she gave us a short routine. Then during the second hour we practised a simple routine for the cheesy song. We were surprised with how much we were able to learn during a two hour session. After the lesson we felt relieved that we now had a routine to do. Simon Lister was amazing! We loved having the dance sessions in the lead up to our big day as it was a good way to learn something new, have fun together as a couple, get some exercise, and also relax a bit and have fun! I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in learning a dance for their wedding as we really enjoyed the whole experience. We danced to "Blame it on the Boogie" by the Jackson 5 at our wedding held in Vancouver, Canada in September. This was a bit of a different choice for music, but perfect. Simon was so creative, helpful and patient as we (non-dancers) struggled to learn the steps and spins, but in the end it was worth it. We did lots of practice in between each session and it really paid off. Our wedding dance was one of the best parts of the big day and many guests commented that the surprise of our dance was their favourite part! Worth every penny. We did a waltz to 'Come away with me' on Saturday 19th June. Our lessons were in London Bridge - very well located. The lessons were very good - we built up a good rapport with Marina and found her teaching style focussed yet supportive ... especially since it took a while to choose our song! We thought Simon Lister was excellent. My husband and I are complete beginners and Simon was both patient and clear in his instructions. you can tell that he really enjoys dancing and teaching dance and his enthusiasm was infectious. I just wanted to write and say how fab it was to have Caroline as a teacher. She explained everyting perfectly and was very patient (needed at times!).
